The Pennsylvania State Police, Berks County Regional Homicide Unit and State Crime Lab are continuing the investigation after a female was found dead inside her home, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said.
According to Steele, the victim’s husband found her inside their condo on Blooming Street in Orefield after going to check on her on Friday night. He noticed blood on the couch and his wife unresponsive on the floor.
The victim was pronounced dead at 10:19 p.m. Friday, Steele said.
It’s not clear how long the victim was dead or if she died of natural causes or a physical altercation. The incident remains under investigation.
